How do I schedule an automatic payment on ChargeSmart?
There are two ways to schedule an automatic payment on ChargeSmart. The quickest way is to proceed through the payment process to Step 4 ("Confirm your Payment"). On this page, there is a checkbox that can be ticked to make the payment be submitted automatically each month. When this box is ticked, additional text will appear that confirms your intention to create an automatic payment, as well as the date of your next payment and other relevant details. Move forward and complete your payment to activate your automatic payment. As an alternative, you can create an automatic payment by logging into your ChargeSmart account. Once logged in, view your "Account" page. From there, click the text "Schedule a Payment" and you will be taken to a screen where you can create a new automatic payment. You will need the name of the company you wish to pay, the address where you would mail that company a payment, your account number, as well as appropriate funding information.
-
How do I edit my automatic payment?
To change the details of your automatic payment (such as payment amount, payment date, or funding source), login to your ChargeSmart account and navigate to your "Account" page. Once there, the section called "Recurring Payments" will list any automatic payments associated with your account. It will also list relevant payment details, such as the date of the next scheduled payment, the payment amount, and the company being paid. To edit any of these details, click "Edit" on the row of the corresponding automatic payment and make adjustments as you see fit.
-
How do I cancel my automatic payment?
To cancel an automatic payment, login to your ChargeSmart account and go to your "Account" page. From there, in the "Recurring Payments" section, click "Edit" in the row of the payment you wish to cancel. Once you are in the Edit screen, find the dropdown menu called "Status" and change from Active to Canceled. (Please note: Automatic payments that received a $10.00 discount as part of our promotional program cannot be canceled unless they have been active for a minimum of three payments.)
