We’re excited to announce that American Express cardholders can now use their favorite card to pay many of the utility providers served by the ChargeSmart Bill Payments network. With nearly 90 million cards in force, American Express is the world’s largest issuer by volume, and the ability to use your American Express card to pay utility bills with ChargeSmart enables one more way for cardholders to reap the benefits of the company’s industry-leading rewards programs and platforms.
Below is a list of utilities in the ChargeSmart Bill Payment network you can begin paying today with American Express, and we expect to support our entire utility provider network by the end of 2011.
